Window Replacement Projects in Windsor & South Windsor, CT

Nu-Face Home Improvements has replaced windows throughout Windsor and South Windsor, from a full three-story replacement on Prospect Street to a foundation-level window on Palisado Avenue and a split-level refresh on Sand Hill Road. The projects on this page are real Windsor and South Windsor homes completed by our own installation team.

Our window lines are ProVia and Alside Mezzo, installed through our showroom at 855 Berlin Turnpike. If you have been thinking about replacing your windows and want to see what is possible, everything shown here started with a conversation at that showroom or a free in-home consultation.

The projects below range from a single targeted window swap to full-home replacements across colonials, raised ranches, and split-levels in both towns.

Prospect Street Multi-Story Window Upgrade

This three-story Prospect Street home called for a bigger scope: matching double-hung windows across all three floors, plus a bay window at the entry porch that had to line up with the home’s original proportions. Older multi-story homes lose a lot of heat through aging window seals, so the priority here was consistent performance top to bottom, not just a fresh look. The entry bay window now anchors the front elevation and brings in significantly more natural light than the unit it replaced.

Strawberry Hill Rear-Elevation Window Replacement

The rear elevation of this Strawberry Hill colonial needed windows that preserved the home’s original sightlines rather than standing out from them. Nu-Face matched trim reveal and window proportions to the existing openings so the new units read as original to the house, not as an add-on. The result holds the home’s character while delivering the tighter seal and better glass performance that the older windows couldn’t match.

Edgewood Drive Full-Front Window Replacement

The front facade of this raised ranch on Edgewood Drive got a complete window replacement across both levels. Raised ranches split their window lines at two different elevations, so keeping the upper and lower windows visually aligned took careful measurement before the first unit went in. The finished facade now reads as one cohesive front elevation instead of two mismatched halves, and the new glass pairs cleanly with the home’s existing color palette.

Hanover Lane Statement Window Installation

A single oversized window can do more for a home’s exterior than a full set of standard units, and that’s the case on Hanover Lane. Installing a larger-than-standard opening means building out the rough opening correctly and getting the structural header sized right before the window ever goes in. The finished window now pulls significantly more daylight into the room behind it and gives the wall a focal point it didn’t have before.

High Tower Road Window and Entry Refresh

Window replacement and entry door work went hand in hand on this High Tower Road project. Getting a new window and a new storm door to feel like they belong to the same house means matching trim depth, hardware finish, and reveal lines across both openings. The result is an entry area that looks intentional and finished, not like two separate contractors worked on it at different times.

The siding shown in these photos was existing siding and was not installed by Nu-Face Home Improvements. This project included the replacement window and entry door only.

Murielle Drive Side-Elevation Window Replacement

This South Windsor home had older white siding and aging windows across its side and rear elevations. The existing windows were surrounded by dark shutters and light-colored trim, while the siding showed visible wear and gave the exterior a dated appearance.

Nu-Face updated the home with new gray siding, bright white trim, and replacement windows. The new siding creates a more uniform exterior across the different elevations, while the replacement windows provide a cleaner, more updated appearance. Coordinating both improvements also allowed the new window trim to integrate with the new siding for a cohesive finished look.

Sand Hill Road Split-Level Window Replacement

Homes like Sand Hill Road carry more exposed wall area per window than a standard ranch, which puts extra weight on getting each opening right. Nu-Face replaced the full set across the front elevation, keeping shutter placement and spacing untouched so the update reads as a natural improvement rather than a departure from the home’s original design. The new windows now match the black-and-tan color scheme already established by the garage and trim.
