Siding in Berlin, CT
Nu-Face Home Improvements has installed siding on homes all across Berlin, from the colonial-style houses near Lamplight Drive to the ranches on Round Hill Road and the two-story homes along Wilcox Ave. Our showroom is right here on the Berlin Turnpike, which means we are not traveling in from another market. We know the neighborhoods, we know how Connecticut winters affect exterior surfaces, and we see the results of our work every day in our own community.
Every project on this page was completed in Berlin. The photos are real homes, real transformations, and real results.
Siding Projects We Have Completed in Berlin
Every home has its own challenges, style, and goals. Throughout Berlin, we’ve worked on everything from classic New England gambrel homes and Cape Cods to ranch-style properties and larger two-story residences. The projects below showcase real siding installations completed by Nu-Face Home Improvements, highlighting different home styles, product selections, and transformation goals. Each project reflects the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and local experience that homeowners can expect when working with our team.
Cape Cod Transformation
The homeowner on Lamplight Drive was ready to update aging dark brown siding that had begun to show its age after years of exposure to Connecticut weather. The goal was to brighten the exterior, improve curb appeal, and give the home a more updated appearance while maintaining its classic Cape Cod character. We removed the existing material, installed Alside underlayment across the full exterior, and finished with new vinyl siding in a gray-blue color with updated white trim. The result completely changed the character of the home and significantly improved its curb appeal from the street.
Gambrel Colonial in Navy Blue
The Anton Lane home is a classic New England gambrel, which is a style common in Berlin’s older residential neighborhoods. The original white siding was intact but had lost its finish and was showing its age. The homeowner wanted something bold and modern without compromising the traditional character of the roofline. We installed deep navy blue vinyl siding with crisp white trim, a combination that works particularly well against the gambrel profile. The before and after on this project is one of the most dramatic in our Berlin portfolio.
Moving from weathered white siding to a deep navy blue exterior completely changed the home’s appearance while preserving the traditional gambrel roofline that makes this style so distinctive in New England neighborhoods.
Full Exterior Replacement with Alside Vinyl
The Round Hill Road project is one of the best examples of what a complete siding replacement looks like from start to finish. The home had original red painted wood siding that had deteriorated beyond repair. Our crew removed the old material down to the sheathing, installed Alside Profold fan-fold underlayment across the entire exterior for added insulation and moisture protection, and finished with charcoal gray vinyl siding. The during photos from this job show the full scope of the preparation work that goes into a properly installed siding job.
Color Updates on Ranch Homes
Not every Berlin siding project is a dramatic color overhaul. Sometimes a homeowner wants a cleaner, more updated version of what they already have. On Wildern Road, we replaced aging tan siding with a fresh light cream finish that brightened the home without changing its character.
On Wilcox Ave, a large two-story home with original faded blue siding got a full replacement in a warm neutral gray, updating the home significantly while keeping it consistent with the neighborhood.
Products Featured on Berlin Siding Projects
The siding projects featured on this page include products from Alside, one of the leading siding manufacturers for New England homes. Depending on the homeowner’s goals, we may recommend traditional vinyl siding, composite cladding, or decorative accent products designed for long-term performance in Connecticut’s climate.
Many of our Berlin homeowners choose Alside products because they offer low maintenance requirements, strong color retention, and durability through seasonal temperature changes.
